El origen de su nombre se remonta a la \u00e9poca en que la<b>\u00a0civilizaci\u00f3n de los incas,<\/b>\u00a0denominaba tambo (\u201ctampu\u201d en quechua), tanto a los albergues como a los centros de recolecci\u00f3n de materiales b\u00e1sicos para la supervivencia que se repart\u00edan a lo largo del denominado \u201cCamino del Inca\u201d (una jornada de camino a pie).<\/p>\n<p>Por eso hoy se conmemora el<b>\u00a0D\u00eda del Tambero,\u00a0<\/b>en conmemoraci\u00f3n a la creaci\u00f3n de la<b>\u00a0Uni\u00f3n General de Tamberos\u00a0<\/b>de 1920, una de las organizaciones sindicales m\u00e1s longevas del pa\u00eds. La fecha, dispuesta a trav\u00e9s del Decreto N.\u00ba 3192 por el Ministerio de Asuntos Agrarios de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, reconoce el trabajo de todos los profesionales que componen el gremio y que con su labor, contribuyen al desarrollo de una industria hist\u00f3rica en el pa\u00eds.
